Welcome to Labelle Kids Residence. These Terms of Service govern your use of our childcare services, website, and parent portal. By using our services, you agree to these terms in full. If you have any questions, please contact us.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By enrolling your child at Labelle Kids Residence, accessing our website, or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not use our services. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time, and continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any changes.
2. Services Description
Labelle Kids Residence provides childcare services including daycare, early childhood education, homework assistance, meals, and related activities for children aged 6 months to 12 years. Services are provided at our facility located in Spintex, Accra. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of our services at any time with reasonable notice.
3. Enrollment and Registration
Enrollment is subject to availability and completion of all required documentation. A registration fee is required to secure your child's place. All information provided during enrollment must be accurate and complete. We reserve the right to deny or terminate enrollment at our discretion, particularly if false information is provided or if a child's needs cannot be reasonably accommodated.
4. Fees and Payments
Fees are charged according to the chosen plan (Daily, Weekly, or Monthly) as published on our website and enrollment agreement. All fees are payable in advance. Late payments may incur additional charges. We reserve the right to adjust fees with 30 days' written notice. Refunds and credits are governed by our cancellation policy as outlined in the enrollment agreement.
5. Cancellation and Refund Policy
Monthly plans require 30 days' written notice for cancellation. The security deposit is refundable within 14 days after the notice period, less any outstanding charges. Weekly and daily plans may be cancelled with 7 days' notice. No refunds are provided for absences on monthly or weekly plans. Daily plans are pay-per-use and not charged on absent days.
6. Health and Safety
Parents must inform us of any medical conditions, allergies, or special needs their child may have. Children with contagious illnesses must remain at home until cleared by a doctor. We reserve the right to refuse care to children who pose a health risk to others. In case of emergency, we will attempt to contact parents immediately and may seek emergency medical treatment for your child.
7. Pickup and Drop-off
Children must be dropped off and picked up by authorized individuals during operating hours (6:00 AM - 7:00 PM, Monday to Friday). Late pickup fees may apply. Identification will be verified at pickup. Parents must provide a list of authorized pickup persons. Any changes to pickup arrangements must be communicated in writing.
8. Parent Responsibilities
Parents are responsible for providing appropriate clothing, diapers, wipes, and any special items their child may need. All personal belongings should be clearly labeled. Parents must keep emergency contact information current and notify us of any changes in their child's health, family circumstances, or custody arrangements.
9. Conduct and Discipline
We maintain a positive discipline policy that focuses on teaching appropriate behavior rather than punishment. We do not use corporal punishment. In cases of persistent behavioral issues that disrupt the safety or well-being of others, we may work with parents to develop a behavior plan. In extreme cases, termination of services may be necessary.
10. Photography and Media
We may take photographs and videos of children for educational records, daily updates, marketing materials, and our parent portal. Parents may opt out of media use for marketing purposes by providing written notice. We will never share identifiable child information with third parties without explicit parental consent.
11. Limitation of Liability
Labelle Kids Residence shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of our services. Our total liability for any claims related to our services shall not exceed the fees paid for the month in which the incident occurred. This limitation does not apply in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.
12. Intellectual Property
All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of Labelle Kids Residence and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works without our express written permission.
13. Website Use
Our website and parent portal are provided for your convenience. You agree not to misuse the website by introducing viruses, attempting unauthorized access, or engaging in any activity that disrupts the functioning of our systems. We reserve the right to terminate access for any user who violates these terms.
14. Privacy and Data Protection
Your use of our services and website is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We collect, use, and protect your personal information as described in that policy. By using our services, you consent to our data practices as outlined in both this Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.
15. Termination
We reserve the right to terminate services immediately if a parent violates these terms, fails to pay fees, or if circumstances arise that make continued care inappropriate or unsafe. Parents may terminate services at any time by providing written notice in accordance with the cancellation policy.
16. Governing Law
These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Ghana. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ghana. We encourage informal resolution of disputes before resorting to legal action.
